Ideal Logic 35 CH flow valve/tap

Does anyone know if the above ( the one that the pressure gauge is attached to ) is supposed to open & close. The lever on mine will not budge in either direction. Am I missing something. Return valve opens & closes without any problem. Thanks

They usually can, but I’ve found some to be stiff, you could try using an adjustable spanner on it for leverage.

I think the plastic lever would either just snap off or the centre would round off if I apply any more force than I am doing.

Try removing the plastic handle if possible then?
