Could I please have a general pointer. I would like to add a 2 zone Hive system to an Ideal Logic 35 combi boiler to my mother's house.

It is currently operated with two Danfoss hardwired timer / thermostats in one.

It is a seven year old house - I have not had chance to have a good look around - there is a fused spur under the boiler and that is it. Will there be a wiring centre somewhre or will it be within the boiler case.

Thank you in anticipation - I have always found Forums veryy friendly and helpful!!

Regards Rob

If it's two zones then there will be some zone valves somewhere.

Have a look at the Honeywell T6 two-zone system. It's OpenTherm compatible, as is your boiler, so will give better energy savings than Hive

Hi,

Thank you for the advice - is this just a straight swap for the two old thermostats.

Thank you Rob
