Hi guys ,1st of all Iam new so take it easy !
And I'm domestics Gas engineer !
BUT I'm having problems with an ideal mexico super Cf455 !
An old customer called saying boiler not liting so popped in vented everywhere
Boiler was working fine both heating & Hot

However tonight she's rang again ! Boiler lights intermittently and when it's lit it will cut out after 3-4 mins !!! And just keeps trying to relight ??

Any ideas ? I'm just not 100% at all !
The boiler is relatively new ish and has been serviced well .

Could b the gas valve ??

A newish open flued Mexico.. Don't think so.

Did all the rads heat fully when you were there?

Blocked cold feed perhaps if in an open vent system and is shutting down due to overheating/poor circulation.

You won't get any help on gas component fault finding on here, I suggest you join the combustion chamber if you are registered.

yes gas valve is gone, the mexico uses a modulating valve so it might work for literally a couple of minutes on start up at low rate but on high rate temp shuts it down.
