If you mean that the pllot is going out, you need to get it attended to by a professional repair man.
Get a better gas man.

You should not have to pay for new parts which do not fix the problem!
Nor for his wrong diagnosis either!
He is what we call a parts changer and who has no diagnostic skills!
Yours is a very simple boiler and any competent engineer would have no problem diagnosing the fault.
We are not allowed here to give advice on gas/combustion aspects and in any case faults like that need diagnosing in front of the boiler.
Find a proper engineer and get any money paid back!
