Ideal Sprint 80 F Combi

Hi guys!

Got a problem with this boiler... Everything works fine apart from no gas to the burner. I suspect it is the solenoid as I do not hear it energise during ignition process. But as some of you may know it could also be the gas valve itself. To save buying the more expensive gas valve, does anyone know if I could get another solenoid head to try that first?

Any help and advise welcome!!!

You could always use a test meter to check the solenoid coil is sound.

TBH Jambo, if you need to ask that m8, I would suggest you get a man in. Electrickery can be nasty, spitefull stuff if you get it wrong.
