Has anyone out there fitted a new PUW from Ideal lately and found it does not seal? I now have three plugs and two wastes, all direct from Ideal, and can't get any combination to seal. A full basin runs away in about a minute. It's definitely leaking into the waste and through the trap, not straight into the fresh air below. All possible adjustments made; and even forcing the plug as far into the waste as poss makes no difference.
The machined finish on the wastes where the o-ring should seal doesn't look that good - any other explanation eludes me.
Don't tell me everyone out there is living with dribbly basins..! If you are, join me on Monday and we'll storm the Ideal switchboard.
