I've fitted new architraves to a door frame, all level and great - however the wall isn't.
I've a gap that starts at 10mm at the top, to 0mm at the bottom between the wall and the architrave edge - Any ideas on how to dress this up ?
I've considered caulk/filler upto a certain depth then woodfiller, or use a moulding of some description but like i said there's a 10mm difference.
flat moulding and scribe maybe ?

I would go with the cauking, less time comsuming and cheaper than filler, you may need to bead a couple of application where it's a deep gap.

Dec caulk, pack out deeper section with a bit of twisted tissue paper [twist stops it moving] before caulking.

Newspaper put through shredder, then mixed with wallpaper paste, till soggy, makes a cheap wide gap filler.
