Hi there
Will soon be building an extension and if possible would like to match the tiles with the existing. What is this tile?
Clay, about 16.5cm x 26.5cm (slightly longer and larger by 2mm).
On the off chance, I checked on the Marley website but cannot really identify the colour, if it is handmade or not. If it is a Marley tile in the first place! Original dates 1938.

It has a star engraved at the top in between the two holes. Is that a brand?
See pictures please.

Best

Nath

A clay plain tile is a clay plain tile who ever makes them.

It's red, but whether an antique one will blend in better than a bright new red one, you'll have to decide.

Its is a Clay plain tile. Not Marley, the secret is in the continuous nib. Most Roofing rec yards should know what your after just by saying that.
Having said that there are plenty of others you can use ( its machine made)
