Hello,

Does anyone know if the Vaillant TURBOmax VUW (either 242/1 E or 282/ 1 E) combination boiler that i have is a 'fully modulating' boiler for DHW?

I'm intending to buy a thermostatic shower valve but all products i've seen so far say that the boiler must be fully modulating and i'm not sure if mine is.

The boiler manual refers to a 'fully modulating automatic gas valve' in the boilers internals and also says that the boiler is 'fully modulating for central heating' but it doesn't say that it is so for DHW.

Does anyone know or can you tell me how i might find out? Also do thermostatic shower valves work well and are they reliable? Would you advise installing one?

Many Thanks to anyone who can help!
