Hi,
Can anyone help please.
I have a Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 16V year 2000.
I know everything is electronic but any ideas how I can solve the following problem.
The idle speed keeps at 1500 revs which is doing my head in. In the old days you just turned a screw and that was it.
There doesn't appear to be any air leaks.
Any ideas please??

Hi

Idle speed is controlled by the Idle Air Control Valve, part no 90531999.

Its a pretty common fault on both 1.0 & 1.2's our dealership have fitted hundreds. Management light on?

Replacement is the only fix if this is the fault component

The management light is on when the ignition is turned on but goes off when I start her up, and stays off. :D

idle speed control valve is held on by 10mm bolt i think with an electrical connector.easy to fit if is faulty?? could be coil pack, leads or plugs faulty though!
