    running xp, ie 6. wireless connection multiple user.logon on 1 account internet fine...swich user , every thing saying connected but no webpage to veiw....thanks in advance

    On the profile it's not working on click on start select run then type cmd (the command prompt will pop up).

    Type ping www.google.com

    If you get a reply then you need to go to Internet explorer, go to Tools, options and select the connection tab and check there is nothing in either Dial up or LAN settings (button on bottom right).

    If you dont get a reply let us know because it's then a problem between your pc and wireless router.

    You can get problems with the "Fast User Switching" in Windows XP and wireless connections. A friend of mine found that it took ages to pick up a connection when he switched users. When I looked at it, he had windows configuring the connection. When I installed the manufacturer software to manage the WiFi connection it disabled the Fast user switching.
