ie settings problem ? -"page cannot be displayed"

Can any help with this.

i do a search on google. if i try to click the results on the right hand side of the screen i get a standard "page cannot be displayed"

i use ie 6.

I'd recommend you use another Internet Browser. Many people use Firefox but I prefer Avant Browser.

I'm not saying it'll solve the problem but it might. Certainly worth a try and if it doesn't help, you're still using a better browser.
 
Also if you are on broadband, re-set your modem by unplugging for 1 minute then back in again, i know NTL connections are prone to this problem.
 
go to cmd prompt

type ipconfig /flushdns press enter
type ipconfig /registerdns press enter

compose a batch file to do this for you.
 
thx guys...did the last and it works on and off now...so will see how it goes
