Does anyone know about the induction hobs from Ikea that have timers? I like the idea of timing individual heating zones independantly, so for example I might set one zone to 10 minutes for spuds and another zone to 45 minutes to cook a casserole. Does anyone have any experience of these hobs and can confirm whether that's how the timer/s works. The bloke on their customer services phone line was thinking that there is one single timer only, but he did say he wasn't sure...

Ask IKEA again and if you get that response ask for someone who does know.

Or buy one, read the manual, and keep or return it as required. IKEA has a one year returns policy.
