Hopefully some one can help me.
The shower tray is in place and i have to now tile the walls and attach the door. Problem is the corner formed by the walls is bigger than aright angle (seems to be a fairly common problem). It runs out by full 1cm at the front edge of the tray.
I realise the walls probably should have been scribed and the tray pushed into place but the waste is already fitted an the floor is now board with large ply sheet which can't be lifted.
To avoid using plastic trims etc i was wondering if i could use sheets of tile backer to line that wall. These sheets would sit on top of the tray and fill the wedge gap so the tiles will come down and hit the top of the tray.
Would there be any problems with this? Can tilebacker ~(maybe 12.5mm Aquapanel from B&Q) be glued/mechanically fixed directly to a plastered solid wall without problems?
