........after several destructive governments and Nicolas Maduro's power grab in March, Trump is talking about possible military action against Venezuela. He has also accused Maduro of being a dictator.

There seems to be an established pattern here - and there is one obvious common denominator in most recent US military interventions. Hmm.

Is he not Corbyns mate ? Venezula an oil rich country is a mess 700% plus inflation , needs a bail out to meet its debt repayment

All started going down hill when that chavez bloke implemented his socialist / commy (?) programme

How do you equate socialism to communism?

Defence spending must be socialism - we collect taxes to pay for it and it benefits those who don't even pay.

How do you equate socialism to communism?

Quite often, socialism appears to be communism 'lite'. Many socialist politicians have communist leanings, but they realise that they have to stick to socialism if they are to have a chance of gaining power. They may not be very bright, but they realise that communism is too red in tooth and claw to sell to the electorate.

So Socialism is used as a pejorative term?

How would you contrast Socialism and Neo-liberalism.
