Softus...your input is useless.
And i really dont think you are capable of doing much more than trolling here.
Ive read your posts...only a day or so ago you told someone they must drain their whole heating system to replace a rad valve!!
And as for yor crap about rising damp a while back!!!
BTW The ammeter on my multimeter can handle 20A...as most standard MM's can. And i have it 15 years, the one i had beore that...an analogue one could also take 20A.
This IS a very simple problem...its a large Kettle we are dealing with after all....nothing complex
My problem is I cant see inside without the risk of irreversible damage...for all i know both the elements fitted might be too short for my cylinder...the cylinder might be full of crap etc etc.
If i took the elements out i would bench test them have a peek inside and id know within minutes what the problem is...but im not sure i want to risk that.
Thats why i asked here...peoples experience I have learned is worth listening to(not yours tho)...people might have seen this problem a hundred times over and saved me some time...but all you want to do is dissect my posts and try to belittle me, and make me out to be a liar.
Now go try annoy someone else please....its not working here.
Marty.
