Immersion heater removal

Thanks. Looks pretty straight forward with the nuts accessible from the front. A few places showing new/refurbished fan online/ebay but may be difficult try to track one down from bricks and mortar shop tomorrow

I just had to ...... when it was only an electrical component that required no messing around with gas/gas pipes.

Also After just paying £276 for homecare, I was not willing to drop another £500ish to replace fan and cover. I did manage to get refurbished parts of both for £90. No point paying for new if we will be changing to Combi later this year.

Fitted and its working. Now I can call BG back for a service .... though doubt they will show up before march
