The foreign ministry in Israel said the bill was "hypocritical and anti-Semitic".

The thing that I don't get about confusing anti-semitism with anti-zionism is the fact that for 2000yrs the Jews didn't have a homeland, they settled within other cultures without integrating. Wherever they have historically settled they have been hated, often passionately & by the majority. Surely, the cultures where they have been hated would embrace Israel & embrace Zionism to be rid of them? Why do so many different cultures still hate the semites & still hate the principle of Zionism???

We see a proportion of people who demonstrate hatred of foreigners, people of different culture, people of different language, people of different religion, people of different skin colour, people of the same religion but a different variety of it.

Zionism is Jewish Nationalism which believes that Palestine belongs to them and that is the problem.
The Palestinians are a Semitic people as well and there are millions living outside Palestine as refugees.
