I did a fairly crude test on the shower and it appears to pushing through around 3 litres per minute, which is more or less the maximum the shower can heat. (According to an earlier post)
I don't fancy the cost of a 10kW shower for the extra it would give.
The property has one other bathroom, and we are looking into fitting a power shower there. The water tank is just through the wall from where the shower would be situated, and someone has suggested that I get a hot water cylinder ffitted and use a dual pump to feed a mixer shower from there.
Any drawbacks to this approach?
P.S. Can't use this approach for the original shower because it's not feasible to run the extra pipework.
