We have decided to put in-cabinet shaver sockets in our new bathrooms, having seen the one that Shades Furniture sell. It's a bit like those angled worktop or under-cabinet socket outlets that you can get for kitchens, except that they are two-pin instead of three.

The problem is that the Shades unit is ridiculously expensive. I have Googled about but not found any alternative. Does anyone here know of these (for less than 100 quid  )

If they're in-cabinet, (& out of sight) just mount a normal one. Job done!

But make sure it is the one with an isolating transformer (2G if using a standard shaver socket), not the 1G one which is NOT suitable for use in bathrooms.

To this end, if you decide to use this £100 one, make sure that is also suitable for bathroom use.
