Hello. Had a good incinerator session the other evening and got rid of loads or dried out weeds etc. Thing is, what do I do with the ash that's left ? Can I spread it on a flower bed ? Or is there somewhere else it should go ?

Thanks.

on tv this morning they said give it to the flowers, its good for them.

(he actually said something like "you can alwys tell where the bonfire was, the grass is dark green and grows well"

but i would be inclined to share it about give some to all flowers grass etc

Put in on your compost heap and mix it in well with the grass cuttings.

compost heap is the better bet as they can be too rich for the beds straight away.

Yes, and I believe it can be very caustic and scorch leaves and roots, so better when weathered or mixed in with wet juicy green stuff like the mowings.
