Leaking quite a lot of water, seems to be coming from a screw head & rubber washer located below the drum, found the screw was loose then retightened and was okay for a few washes then leaked again. Screw & washer can be found by tipping the washer away from you and looking under the drum.

Can anyone please advise if this is the right diagnosis.

Thanks.

i haven't come across this fault on that series of machines yet. like some whirlpool machines the screw you're describing could be to hold a bracket for the tub heater. when you tighten it up again try putting a blob of silicone on it. the next time i'm at one of these i'll have a look.

Apparently it's the 'Heater Anchor' which holds the heating element in the middle of the drum. That sound about right?
