Indesit washing machine

I have a problem with my washing machine model wil103, put a washing in yesterday washed ok but did not empty and spin. I took the waste hose out and emptied it manually, water came out easy enough and got my work clothes out thankfully. When the machine was empty i put it onto spin and it did but it looked quite soapy in there.

First thing to check is the filter, clean it out and see what's stopping the pump running.
