hi there
our WIDL126 stopped tumble drying a few months back. I've been on the forum and did some diagnostics and the suggestion was to check the Thermal Fuse. I did that and it was open circuit, so i replaced it with a new one.
That done, the tumble dryer tries to do the cycle but then stops, and i eat a mad flurry of LEDS on the front, so obviously the Thermal Fuse isnt the only problem.
I'm thinking about replacing the thermal coil also but i don't want to get into the scenario where i'm just replacing parts without knowing the root cause of the problem.
Any suggestions as to what to try next? Is it the thermal coil? Thermostat?
One thing i did notice after turning the machine back on was a slight "Warm smell", not like burning (i know what that smells like) but certainly similar to that...
Help folks...dont need to buy a new washer/dryer after having my boiler replaced this week
Thanks
