Inhibitors

I recently had to drain my c/h down [leaking valve] replaced the valve filled it back up all ok question is, is it best practice to put an inhibitor in the system,if so whats the best and i presume i would have to drain enough water off then add it in the header tank in the loft and refill again.

You are correct in all your assumptions I personally would only use Sentinel X100 or the Fernox equivalent
