Just a few pics that I took the other day; is it your bog standard generator control panel or is it quite specialised?

Don't know anything about the history of it, whether it works, etc... as it was just in a warehouse that I was in briefly moving tables into for long term storage purposes. Sorry for the poor picture quality.

It does seem unusual, to have so many small relays and a PLC seems an odd design. Very neat and well installed, I note one missing relay so assume not longer in use? Today most of the controls are on the generator not the remote panel and much smaller. I have seen one installation as complex, it was on the Falklands and it was for fire fighting, there was not enough fresh water, and so sea water was used for fire fighting, the hydrant system was filled with fresh water, which was under pressure, if the pressure dropped the generator started and drove some large submersible pumps. I wonder if your panel is for more than simple generator control? can't see why it would need a PLC just for the generator?

Don't want to say to much, but suffice it to say I work for a company that has several sites involving large infrastructure critical pumps that have to be remotely monitored and controlled.
