I have been asked to remove one of these and replace it with a normal waste. Its not something I would normally touch and sent a trainee last time and he had a problem!

I thought they had a special flange and could not be simply replaced with a waste? Or is there a special waste which will do the job?

I always thought they were the same diameter as a basket strainer waste?

The normal 21/2 strainer waste will fit fine.
