First, I am in Australia, so hopefully someone can still give me some advice.
I have a pretty standard extractor fan in the ceiling directly above my stovetop.
Is it possible, easier, cheaper etc to install a range hood using the existing cavity and circuit?
The power switch to the existing fan is on the wall nearby, along with the switch for the underbench electric oven.
