Installation of gas cooker

Hi,

I'm planning to buy a new gas cooker. The one I'm looking at is in Currys. They will instal this for £65.00.
Do you think that this is a reasonable ball park cost for this, or is it likely to be cheaper just to get it delivered and get a local Corgi gas man to connect it to the mains supply?

Yes.

Not very likely.

A distinct advantage of getting the supplier to install it is that there'll be none of those pointy-finger moments if anything goes wrong / is missing / broken or if the registration isn't done properly.
