Installation of Magna filter on heating system

I've recently had a Magna filter installed by a BG engineer as part of their attempts to resolve an ongoing issue with my heating system.

Due to space restrictions they have installed the filter on the CH flow pipe rather than the CH return. This wouldn't seem to make much sense as any muck that is in the system will enter the boiler before it sees the filter.

Should I be concerned??

It won't catch all the muck first time round anyway.

It is not ideal, but occasionally it is the only way.

Not ideal but not wrong, If it's a Spirotech then I wouldn't worry. Don't make 2 threads for an issue you have though.
