Installers

Its not just in relation to the loft, but it does annoy me those customers who call me every ten minutes to see what time I am coming at and then when I do get there find they have not cleared all their stuff around the boiler!

I never move anything fragile in case I drop it! But I always tell them why I cannot move it!

And so you decide to get in loft risking life and limb because a, the customer has a nice smile,b,its the middle of winter and the customer looks a little bit desperate, struggle up your dumb arse company supplied ladder, with your tool box, flashlight and dustsheet[you dont want to get your knees dirty].The boiler lights but refuses to stay lit, crys the "installer",Did you not think to check the voltage that you supplied to the boiler? Do you not know this boiler will not work if the polarity is reversed?Did you not know you would not get any hot water out of this combi if you do not atttach the pipework correctly etc etc.........

End..................

Well If you would regard going in to a loft with a ladder as risking life and limb, then your life must be extremely dull indeed. Do you carry out a risk assessment before getting out of bed?

Stop your whining and get on with your job or go do something less risky

About 600 people die from falling out of bed each year in the US but the figure in the UK is only about 20. Pretty similar to CO deaths in the UK!

Perhaps we have more guard rails round beds in the UK?

How anal are you baxmax that you take a dust sheet up into the loft, no wonder your scared of lofts, once dust sheet is down you aint gonna see the joists, you are such a numpty jobsworth, bet your never at one place for long.
Fact is some jobs are more hazardous than others, what you should be concerned about when in lofts is asbestos and such , not falling.

Ha! I'd only wake up to find myself chained to the railings...... Does anyone know where I could buy bed safety railings

Can you get a laser and mirrors installed to make a
"Just about to fall out of bed" alarm?
