Hello all,

Apologies for my complete ignorance on this topic.

I have a bathroom that is stripped with work ready to be started on it. I can do all of the tiling myself - BUT, I don't know at what point in the 'project' that the shower needs to be installed.

Previously there had been a gravity fed shower, and this is being replaced with a power shower.

My plan was to tile the floor, install the shower tray, then toilet/sink/towel rail in place of radiator.....
I then have no idea as to whether the power shower needs fitting and wiring before tiling, or whether I can tile first?

Any advice welcomed. :)

Do you mean power shower (i.e. a pumped one using stored hot water), or an instant one?

Either way, you'll need to first fix it, then tile, then second fix.

First fix = run cables and pipework, test and cap off if nessecary.
Second fix = terminate cables and pipework into shower.

Its a proven method ;)
