Installing hive reciever in vaillant eco tec 24

if you have another timer somewhere or built into the boiler that will have to be set to constantly on

It was always set to constant on as heat was just called when ya turned the dial, the hive clicks and turns green when ya call for heat. But sounds like it’s not closing the switch.

I wired it as you said, it calls for heat but does not seem to heat up. ?

so would this only need 1 wire to rt 230 and a loop from common to live in the hive reciever ?

yes give it a try you wont cause any damage

Current set up, gonna take the left rt230 out and in the hive reciever, put a loop from common to live ?
