Installing new tumble dryer

Hi

I just had my new Hotpoint tumble dryer delivered and have gone to install it but there is a slight problem.

Our previous tumble dryer was a Zanussi which was vented on the left hand side so I made sure the new one was also vented on the left. Unfortunately the new tumble dryer vent is about two inches higher and slightly to the right of where the old tumble dryer was vented. Is there anyway that this can be adjusted without squashing the venting hose?
