Installing Oak Worktop

Thanks. I was more worried about the dryer as it gives off some humid air even though it’s a heat pump type. But it’s a laundry room so it’s gonna take some wear from day to day use.

Yes I just need to cut it to size. I did create another post about whether to trim back the sill etc. but I’m just going to run it a few mm short of it.
The piece in the photo needs about 3 more coats of oil and I’ve just left it there for now.

Having been installed for 4-5 days I’ve noticed that it is cupped in the centre slightly. Looks about 2mm.
Now I know that the default answer is that it’s incorrect installation but I’ve noticed the 0.5m offcut which they also left me with is cupped exactly the same.
I have oiled the bottom once, top 3 times lightly and edges as instructed. The underside is protected with the moisture barrier as I showed and I have loosely tights screws with double washers in oversized holes….

Can’t notice it without looking in the cupboards etc, but I don’t want it to get worse
