hi

i have got a new vanity unit with an inset sink which needs the waste plumbing in.

It sits into a recess in the bathroom and the soil stack is the other side of the wall. i have cut a couple of acces hatches through the plasterboard and can get to the soil stack easily now but will need to drill the pipe to fit the waste pipe.

I have seen inlets which strap around the soil pipe but not sure where to get one from. Also, once the waste is in, i need a way of disconnecting it so the unit can be removed for the tiler to do his work. thing is the gap between the side of the unit and the wall is about 2 inches max so is there some sort of a fitting i can leave sticking out the wall - like a bulkhead fitting - and the connect the watse pipe back up to it when we put the vanity unit back in.

i will get some pics up but if anyone has any ideas then let me know!!!

cheers

george

you want a strapped boss any plumbers merchant

the trap has a compression connection which will do and leave the pipe sticking out remember to bag it when you disconnect it
