hi guy's

Customer has asked for a 4m 'wardrobe' type thing to be made into a cellar cooler. The temperature will be around 12 deg'c. I have suggested we insulate the inside of the walls/doors to reduce the load, noise and sweating.

I have to cooling side sorted but wonder how to insulate

Now what would you guys suggest in this instance?

Any recommendations most welcome

Cheers

Believe it or not plasterboard (gypsum) is an insulator, although it's not very good in damp environments. Will the interior be damp? Another easily available insulator is Rockwool, although it will need to be contained behind a membrane/wall layer of some description. If you think about it anything whicjh will keep heat in will also keep heat from flowing in as well

I was thinking along the lines of either that silver foil bubblewrap or 25mm foilbacked insuboard
