Insulating a single skin garage

Hi All.

I moved into a new build house a few years go and have already witnessed an incredible amount of condensation/damp in my singe skin double garage, especially at lower/floor level. I assume it's coming through the single skin brick and, to be fair, the builder did warn of this and advised against putting shelving etc.. against the walls, but in reality this is completely impractical. I therefore want to look at insulating it before this winter, but should I be looking to do all the walls and the ceiling/roof? It's a pitched roof which I use for storage and I must admit, I've not seen any damp issues with stuff I've stored up there, only items at ground level have been affected by damp.

So can I get away with just insulating the walls? Or will I still see damp issues if I don't seal off the ceiling too and install a loft hatch to access it?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

TIA

Lots off ways you can do it. Plenty of YouTube videos showing options.

Insulated plasterboard stuck on with foam then the plastic knock through mechanical fixings is one way.

Wood frame with kingspan then plasterboard with vapour barriers is another.

Pick one that you think is ok
