Is it worth doing? Either just lining the outer casing round and above the combustion chamber area with (removable) celotex or trying to build an insulated cupboard round the whole thing.

It seems to kick a fair bit of heat into the garage when running, but I don't want to start melting the fan - but I don't believe it would run hotter, just lose a bit less heat?

if building anything around it there is minimum distances required and ventilation requirements which can be found in the installation instruction manual
