Hi
Dormer bunglow, eaves space is about 5 foot wide and runs the entire perimeter of the building - has very little insultation in and i'd like to top it up.
Only problem is access - the chipboard is 18mm thick, T&G, and nailed down.
Loft joists are about 1.5" apart or whatever, and run at right angle to the eaves crawl space.
Is there somethign I can get which could be injected, or some other idea/solution for filling up the voids? At present the downstairs ceiling is effectively just the plasterboard ceiling, void, then 18mm chipboard and then roof space.
Easiest thing to do would be to insulate on top of the chipboard but then we'd lose the storage space.
Thanks
Mike
