Hey guys.

Bricks are going up on the outside of the steel tomorrow so need to get the web insulated behind the cavity tray.

The flange/web is 70mm, will 50mm wedged in the web be sufficient or what should be done here?

Cheers.

Is the steel on the cold or the warm side of the insulation? How do you plan to deal with the thermal bridge?
I would say get insulation around the outside of the flange and keep the beam itself as warm as possible, but i only have a theoretical understanding.
