Insulation around internal soil pipe

Might be a silly question but is it ok to put insulation around the soil pipe?

Had boxing off & there's nothing around it. The bathroom hopefully will be done in the near future & because it's not the warmest of rooms, im thinking it might help a little bit. Not sure if it will make much/any difference but if ok will normal loft insulation do? Cheers for any replies

Loft roll will be fine but it will make limited difference.

I've never known a soil stack be insulated on thermal considerations. In the past I've occasionally specified preformed pipe insulation around soil stacks in high rise blocks to reduce the noise of the water barreling down a plastic stack

Didn't think it would make much difference, but trying to think of anyway to help keep bathroom warmer.
