Insulation below DPC

Do you normally full fill your cavity below DPC with concrete struck away or do you part fill with EPS and then fill with concrete?

What is the correct method?

You will need to carry the insulation down, but it depends.

Look up the ACDs for this area for an idea to avoid thermal bridging issues.
 
If I understand your question, a lean mix of concrete cavity fill below ground level only, clear cavity from fgl to dpc then insulation.
