Integrated washing machine - size

Hi all. I need a new integrated washing machine.

My current hoover one is 530 deep. The picture in the manual however shows 570. The spec though is 530.

The new ones seem to be 540. I'm a bit worried as there isn't much space to push it further back but in the manuals for the 540 deep ones, the picture still shows 570.

I'm really confused. Does anyone know why there would be this discrepancy?

The last thing I want is for this to be sticking out 10 mill not flush against the other doors.

I cannot comment on your machine but when my mum replaced her Miele the new one was about 20mm deeper. It is the only washing machine that I have come across where the lid was less deep than the machine. I had to hack away the plaster. BTW it was not integrated but it sat behind a cabinet door.

Why not email Hoover?

I found the hard way that thet make the drum deeper for bigger load capacities so less space at back for peipework.

My existing is integrated and the wife wants the machine to be hidden behind a cupboard door.

Are you sure the 570 isn’t the depth required rather than its dimension.
