Can anyone suggest a quality mahogany woodstain for interior doors, skirts, bannisters please. The stuff has had plenty of coats in the past but needs refreshing. Ive looked at the Sikkens Cetol TSI Satin Plus although pricey Sikkens has a good reputation. Also how many coats would be required for either the Sikkens or the stain that you would suggest. Thanks

Is it a stain or varnish your after?, maybe a quick coat of clear varnish will sort things out.
