hi i have a issue with my upstairs door frames the frames are square but they all have windows above the door,this is a problem as everyone the timber above the door which holds the window is out of square so any new doors would need trimming at a angle to fit the door or you have a bigger gap above the door on one side,ideally i want to straighten the frame holding the window rather than butchering the new doors...will try and add pics soon.

You'll need to trim the top of the door unfortunately.
Or slice a piece of timber to size and make the frame straight.

The horizontal piece of timber is joined to the vertical sides of the frame.
Well, in theory yes, but in my experience, removing the glass without breaking it is a mission.
I would just cut a timber fillet to size and glue it to the horizontal piece so to make it straight.
A bit of filler if needed and paint and all is good.

It looks like a frame rather than a liner.
the transom (the horizontal part) is probably tenoned into the Jamb.
to move it you would have to cut the tenons to get it out. Also you would need to removed the glazing bead to deglaze, then fit new beading after
