I need a suitably rated (IP54 would be OK I think) thermostatic control for a wetroom.

Control will be in zone 2 (there is no shower cubicle, but it is outside of redefined zone 1 in 17th).

No one seems to make anything I can find.. Wireless would be OK from safety perspective, but I still can't find anything that is suitable for the environment..

Heatmiser PRT's can utilise a remote air sensor, which I believe is in fact one of their sealed floor sensors. speak to heatmiser tech to confirm, I expect you can do the same with other brands too.

Thanks for the reply..

The problem is that the controls actually need to be sited in the wetroom (expensive wood veneer panneling with std. backbox cutouts already installed and very difficult to change now)..

The original plan was to use the Warmup Xstat which for some reason I thought was a SELV front end (with sensor) to a backend which would have been installed behind a removable (watertight) panel behind the back of a cupboard (i.e. only tool accessible and outside of the broom).

I had also thought that it was suitably rated for this environment (IP21 isn't even suitable for steamy bathrooms is my interpretation), which is surpising given the number that get used in this context.

From a safety perspective, I could use a wireless control, but again everything I can find is no more than IP21 so not suitable
