Like a dream, thanks!
The push fit connections on the ones I bought were pretty fiddly. I messed one of them up, fingers crossed they are now secure.
Onto the living room lights next - going from a multi spot to a single light and there's a whole lot of wires. :LOL:

I'll be long gone by the time these bad boys fail.
It ain’t necessarily so.
I installed 10 integrated downlights in my kitchen. - Ovia Inceptor Micro -
After 5 years two have failed. They are covered by warranty BUT the Micro model is discontinued. :mad::mad:

They have sent me two “equivalent” replacements.
They are only equivalent if you don’t mind the wattage being different, the hole being a different size, the style is different and that they aren’t tiltable.

So, I won’t be fitting downlights unless the lamps are changeable. Good luck with yours.

@stevenaive

it’s worth you having a look at this article
https://sitlersledsupplies.com/what-rated-led-hours-really-mean/amp/
And

https://www.howtogeek.com/280843/do-led-light-bulbs-really-last-10-years/amp/

What people don’t understand is that they see that the lamp’s lifetime is quoted as (say) a big figure like 10,000 hours.

But this figure is the Average Rated Life (ARL). What this really means is that If 50% of a batch of LED lights fails at 10,000 hours than their ARL is 10,000 hours.

Not so good then?
