Speaking of blue prints, when I was in Israel they built their own very capable fighter jet called the 'Kfir'. The Feckers used to fly overhead at maybe 50' off the ground before climbing up and turning over the Golans. Never heard them coming, just the roar and boom as they went over while I was working in the cotton fields. Never got used to it, I'd just fall down in shock.
Anyway, back to Blueprints, Israel had been buying various aircraft from France culminating in an order for 50 Dassault Mirage's which Israel had bought and paid for, when the French scoundrels refused to deliver due to embargoes, Mossad simply stole the blueprints and built it themselves, then developed it further into the Kfir.

Nobody knows how killing off the current regime would play out. Iran could actually end up with something a lot worse. For example, years of civil war followed by a Taliban type regime.
