He now creates war in order to say he has delivered peace. Even to the extent of announcing a ceasefire between two countries at war. I had him down a self interested pragmatist but events suggest he is a psychologically ****ed up individual

Hasn't UK made some move toward being more repressive now with the banning of the Palestine Action Group (and the actions against Just Stop Oil before that)?

When protest is stifled by law, repression encroaches.

Attacking a military airfield and damaging aircraft goes beyond protest, it's terrorism.

Just Stop Oil have used paint, as have Fathers4justice and anti-Hunting protests, but they have not been proscribed as terrorist groups. Their actions were dealt with using existing legislation.

Now that the precedent has ben set for a country to attack another on the pretext of 'preemptive defence', the way is clear for any rogue nations to enact such a 'defence'.

There was nothing pre-emptive about it. Iran have been attacking Israel for years using their proxies, Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis.

Then Israel and its allies would be justified in attacking those proxies, But to attack another sovereign country on the pretext that it is financing its proxies is illegal under International Law.

That's just a convenient excuse to outlaw the whole movement protesting against genocide in Gaza.
It was an action conducted by just two individuals.
Now any protest against genocide in Gaza can be described as terrorism.
Imagine if the 1.5 million people who protested against the Iraq War were proscribed as terrorists.

The 1.5 million Iraq war protestors weren't attacking UK military installations as far as I recall, why would they be proscribed as terrorists?
